Five Star Dance Band is an exciting, fun-loving, swing, ballroom, and rock’n’roll band from the Twin Cities area. We have long histories of providing high-quality, family-friendly danceable music for a variety of venues including weddings, corporate events, country clubs & fraternal organizations. We play most popular dance genres from the 1930’s - 1980’s and beyond. From sophisticated dinner and cocktail music, through ballroom favorites like waltz, Latin, and swing, to rock’n’roll, we’ve got you covered!
Five Star Dance Band includes vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, drum set, and a horn section
with woodwinds (sax, clarinet, and/or flute) and trumpet.
Vocal arrangements feature fabulous two- to four-part harmonies, and ballroom dance instruction is available by prior arrangement before or during the engagement!
Five Star Dance Band features a strictly family-friendly tune list—all lyrics and material are suitable for audiences of all ages. We also maintain a healthy, positive, and substance-free stage presence and lifestyle. We like everyone to be able to relax and have fun!
